Position Overview We are seeking a Graphic Designer to take full ownership of NuWatt’s visual strategy, creative execution, and brand integrity across platforms. This role is both strategic and hands-on, overseeing the full creative pipeline from factory sourced assets to brand level design systems. This role is expected to have a network of freelancers they can manage while collaborating with internal teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, visually sharp, and able to translate product, marketing, and business goals into high impact creative output. Requirements • 10+ years of strong experience in graphic design. No more than 10% maximum of lapses of employment or being freelancer. Also, any jobs less than one year will not be considered. • Experience in eCommerce; with any Consumer Package Goods, Lighting, Consumer electronics, or product catalogs which require exciting and elevated digital graphics. • Experience in developing and implementing brand & visual guidelines • Experienced in hands on graphic design experience, with proven success designing for Amazon (A+ content and product listing images), Shopify, or other eCommerce platforms. • Experience in developing packaging from start to finish, including high level of understanding dielines, in-package marketing material, and installation guides designed for retail shelves • Experience in managing external vendors, freelancers, and assisting production artists. • Experience producing high quality, next generation, engaging social media graphics • Experience producing high quality and attention-grabbing digital graphics and layout designs for email marketing Key Responsibilities Brand Systems • Develop and maintain distinct brand guidelines for both our residential and commercial product lines • Ensure consistent brand presentation across all channels: packaging, Amazon, social, email, website, and print • Distribute and enforce brand guidelines across freelancers, internal teams, and production artists • Serve as the final gatekeeper for visual quality, consistency, and messaging alignment • Find and guide outsourced freelancers, help guide production artists, well versed in management software like Asana Creative Operations & Vendor Oversight • Primary contact for overseas factories to request and send graphics or product assets (images, renders, STP/OBJ files, etc.) • Review, organize, and standardize design files for use across digital and print formats • Manage and delegate work to freelance designers, 3D renders artists, photographers, and video editors. • Hire quality freelancers and production artists as needed to elevate the graphics department Marketing Collaboration & Promotional Content • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute visuals for: • Social media campaigns • Email marketing • Website promotions and seasonal campaigns • Translate product features and marketing objectives into high-performing, customer-facing visuals What We Offer • Health, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) • Paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and holidays • A collaborative and fast-paced environment where your work has direct impact • NuWatt is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
