Lead HVAC Installer

Lead HVAC Installer Team Enoch is looking to fill the position as a lead HVAC Installer in the Houston TX and surrounding metro area. The primary responsibility for this position is to successfully install residential split HVAC systems across the metroplex. You will be working with at least 1 helper to accomplish these projects. Must be willing and able to work 6 days/week during high season (April-August). Lead HVAC Installer Benefits: • Pay: $22-$28/hr • Full-time employment year round • 10 paid holidays + 2 weeks PTO + health insurance • Company apparel • Taking working vehicle to house instead of meeting at the office each morning • Growth opportunities and performance-based bonus available to all **A VALID DRIVER LICENSE IS REQUIRED** Responsibilities for Lead HVAC Installer include, but are not limited to: • Facilitating all communication between the customer, helpers, and office staff. • Ensuring the refrigerant in the old system is properly pumped down and lines flushed prior to safely removing all old components. • Installation per manufacturer’s specifications of the new split system. • Installation practices must adhere to Enoch’s practices and standards. • Ensure thermostat is wired correctly, charge system to appropriate levels, and test system for heating and cooling. • Responsible for clean up, callbacks, and walking customer through completion of job and thermostat functions. • Properly document and upload work order and clear before & after photos of work performed. Miscellaneous information: • System installs include: 80% AFUE gas systems, 96% AFUE gas systems, Heat Pump systems, dual-fuel systems, mobile home units, fan coils, ductless mini splits, 2-stage, and variable speed. • Thermostat installation includes: Pro1 T725, Honeywell Home Wifi programmable, Ecobee Smart Enhanced, Nest 3rd Generation, and proprietary thermostats for variable speed systems. • Brand installs include: Goodman, Daikin, Rheem, Lennox, and American Standard This job is ideal for someone who is: • Dependable - reliably showing up to work on time each day • Prepared - able to supply own hand tools and properly use other equipment provided • Capable - showing knowledge in residential electrical/wiring principles and work in accordance to national and local codes • Responsible - able to take ownership over work while not blaming others or making excuses • Efficient - able to solve problems, think quickly, and fulfill daily commitments on schedule • Teachable - willingness to learn and accept/give feedback for purposes of growing individually and as a company • Honest - having a high degree of integrity by not succumbing to lying, cheating, or stealing • Licensed - EPA certification • Respectful of company, coworkers and customers • Equipped - Must have own working gauges and torch kit. We can/will provide a vacuum pump and recovery machine if needed.
