Lead HVAC Technician

We are looking for an HVAC Technician to join our team! You will install, service, and repair heating and air conditioning systems. This position is for a service mechanic - diagnostic and repairs are the primary role. Three major principles will ensure success with Vinco Mechanical: • SAFETY - ensuring with safety standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act. This is first and foremost. • SERVICE - we are providing our customer a service, ensure their needs are understood, concerns are addressed, and they are treated with respect throughout the process. • SALES - Identifying maintenance risks on equipment and providing customers with maintenance agreements to help them control costs, and avoid costly repairs. Responsibilities: • Install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems • Use of company iPad and operating system Service Titan to enter time invoicing, estimates, and all relevant information -experience with it or Service Channel a major plus! • Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements • Perform routine preventative maintenance • Respond to emergency maintenance requests • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures Qualifications: • Five years experience in HVAC or other related fields • Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams - comfortable with low voltage, and familiar with line • Ability to handle physical workload • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills • EPA 608 OSHA 30 and NYC SST • Valid NYS Drivers License Job Type: Full-time Pay: $31.20 - $48.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
