Lead Java Developer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Java Developer to join our innovative team. Responsibilities

• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment
• Architect robust, scalable Java applications that meet business objectives
• Lead and mentor a team of Java developers in best practices and coding standards
• Drive the integration of functional requirements into existing applications
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
• Ensure code quality and maintainability by conducting code reviews
• Manage project timelines and resources effectively
• Troubleshoot and optimize Java applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Liaise with stakeholders to gather and address technical and design requirements
• Provide technical guidance and insight to improve the software development process

Requirements

• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field; a Master's degree in Computer Science is highly preferred
• Possess 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, with a specialization in Azure technologies
• Have at least one year of leadership and team management experience
• Demonstrated proficiency with the Spring framework for enterprise applications
• In-depth knowledge of deploying and managing applications on Microsoft Azure
• Expertise in designing and implementing solutions using Microservice Architecture Patterns
• Proficient in managing containerized applications with Kubernetes
• Skilled in developing and integrating RESTful APIs
• Fluent English communication skills at a C1 level or higher

Nice to have

• Background in Financial Services, particularly in wealth management
• Experience with Apache Kafka for stream-processing software platforms
• Familiarity with Docker for containerization and deployment
• Strong understanding of SQL for effective database management and operations
