Technical Architect III: On behalf of our Oil & Gas client, Procom is searching for a Technical Architect III for a 12-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Houston office. Technical Architect III - Job Description: We are seeking a Java Architect to join a high-performing team responsible for the development and support of critical commercial business applications for Natural Gas Transmission and Midstream (GTM). This role involves designing and developing comprehensive technical solutions and ensuring successful implementation. Technical Architect III - Responsibilities: • Lead the design and development of technical solutions, including system architecture and integration patterns. • Develop architectural diagrams and standards for system design. • Identify and build reusable framework components. • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to align on solution design. • Conduct issue reviews and implement prevention strategies. • Identify and drive process improvement opportunities. • Ensure technical strategies adhere to security and compliance requirements. • Analyze software performance and establish benchmarks. • Collaborate with other architects, developers, and QA analysts. • Provide after-hours availability for production migrations and incident management. Technical Architect III - Mandatory Skills: • University degree in computer science or related field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical roles within medium to large organizations. • Experience in developing reusable components and implementing N-Tier architecture. • Strong project management and organizational skills. • Experience developing complex applications with Java, web services, and relational databases. • Proficiency in Azure cloud native development. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Technical Architect III – Nice-to-Have Skills: • Knowledge of programming languages like JSON, C#, Python. • Experience with DevOps CI/CD pipelines. • Skills in designing data storage solutions and managing large data volumes. • Expertise in microservices and API design. • Knowledge of cybersecurity and compliance standards. Technical Architect III – Assignment Length: This is a 12-month contract position. Technical Architect III - Start Date: ASAP.
