Responsibilities
West Henderson Hospital is currently under construction and is expected to open in late 2024. When it does it will be the seventh acute care hospital in The Valley Health System. It will be located at the southwest corner of Raiders Parkway and St. Rose Parkway, near the Las Vegas Raiders' headquarters. When the hospital opens it will feature: 150 beds A 37-bay emergency department Surgical suites including heart and hybrid suites. Endoscopy suites Cardiac catheterization labs An electrophysiology lab to treat heart rhythm disorders An interventional radiology/special procedures lab to treat neurological disorders. Job Description: Responsible for the analysis of laboratory specimens and subsequent result reporting according to laboratory protocol and procedures. Acts as general supervisor over assigned lab activities. Able to work effectively with minimal supervision. Qualifications Shift: FULL TIME VARIED SIGN ON BONUS $10,000 Education: Baccalaureate Degree in relevant science or equivalent as defined by CLIA’88 Experience: 4 years experience as Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Lab Scientist (CLT) with general lab/multi-department experience

Technical Skills: General bench tech skills required to provide coverage in all modalities

License/Certification: Nevada State License as general supervisor required; ASCP or equivalent board registration required.

Other: Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide high quality of patient care appropriately (specific age competent). Must possess appropriate people skills, organization and attention to detail. Must act as a resource for others.
