This is a full-time, year-round position—not seasonal—and we’re looking for motivated individuals who want to build a long-term home with us. Summary of Responsibilities: The Lead Painter is responsible for executing high-quality painting projects on residential and historic properties. This includes surface preparation, finish application, and job site cleanliness. This role works closely with Project Managers and crew members to ensure every job is completed on time, within budget, and to Phinney Ridge Painting’s high standards. Essential Functions: • Supervise a team of 1-3 crew members • Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites • Communicate clearly with clients, team members, and supervisors • Follow all safety procedures and job site protocols • Track project progress and raise issues as needed • Transport tools, ladders, and materials between job sites Education, Experience, and Skills Required: • Minimum 3 years of residential painting or construction experience • Some experience as a supervisor or team lead • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred, but not required) • Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license • Proficient in spoken and written English • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship • Ability to work efficiently both independently and on a team • professional appearance and demeanor Compensation and Pay: • $35–$45/hour, depending on experience • Full Time: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm • 401(k) with company match • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Performance-based bonuses • Advancement opportunities • Company vehicle available for those who qualify for insurance coverage How to Apply: • Submit your updated resume We have a formal recruiting process and have a relationship with Zephyr Connects LLC, whom we use for the screening and hiring process.
