Lead Sales Associate

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Associate to join our dynamic team. The Lead Associate will play a crucial role in overseeing daily operations, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team to achieve sales goals. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for retail, and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties • Supervise and train team members to ensure high levels of performance and customer satisfaction. • Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer engagement and drive sales. • Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and efficient checkout processes. • Assist customers with inquiries, providing excellent customer service and support throughout their shopping experience. • Implement merchandising strategies to optimize product displays and inventory management. • Maintain stock levels by organizing and replenishing merchandise on the sales floor. • Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining a positive shopping experience for customers. • Collaborate with management on promotional activities and store initiatives. • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while fostering a positive team environment. Experience • Previous supervisory experience in a retail environment is preferred. • Strong background in retail sales, including cash handling and basic math skills. • Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus. • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as communication with diverse customers is essential. • Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills are required for effective interaction with customers and team members. • Experience in merchandising, stocking, and conducting product demos will be beneficial in this role.
