Job Summary:The Lead Sign Installer is responsible for the safe and efficient installation of interior and exterior electrical signs, including drilling and pouring concrete foundations for support structures. While not managing direct reports, this role guides and trains support staff (e.g., Install Helpers) on proper procedures. The Lead Sign Installer ensures quality workmanship, adherence to safety standards, and accurate completion of all job-related documentation. This role will report into Pasadena, TX Monday - Friday.Responsibilities: • Install signs and support structures, including drilling and pouring concrete foundations. • Complete all required paperwork (work orders, material lists, etc.) promptly and accurately. • Oversee the loading and securing of signs, pipes, and related materials for safe transport. • Perform general maintenance on company vehicles and equipment, ensuring cleanliness and security. • Maintain a clean and organized job site by removing debris, properly storing materials, and following safety guidelines. • Work flexible hours, including overtime, as determined by management. • Safely fulfill the physical demands of the role (lifting, climbing, standing, etc.). • Attend required meetings, trainings, and follow up on assigned tasks. • Safeguard all company resources, including vehicles, tools, and equipment. • Travel to both in-state and out-of-state job sites as needed. • Guide and train installation support staff on safe and precise installation methods without serving as their direct supervisor.Qualifications: Experience & Licenses • Minimum of 4 years installing exterior and interior electrical signage. • Valid Texas Driver’s License required; CDL Class A or B preferred but not mandatory. • Crane operator certification, OSHA 10/30, or similar credentials are preferred. • Journeyman Sign Electrician License is a plus. Technical Skills • Proficient in operating bucket trucks or crane trucks; comfortable working at heights. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints or construction drawings accurately. • Adept at maintaining detailed records and paperwork. Soft Skills & Leadership • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. • Capable of training and guiding team members on safe, effective procedures. • Strong verbal and written communication skills for collaboration with team members and clients. Physical & Safety Requirements • Capable of lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and climbing. • Willingness to work flexible hours, including extended or weekend shifts, and travel to various sites. • Thorough understanding of job site safety practices. • 21 years or older for insurance purposes. Travel Requirements This position is required to travel as an essential function of this role due to the need for in-person interaction with customers, field partners, and/or business stakeholders. Travel may include local, regional, or national destinations and may be conducted via automobile, air, or other modes of transportation. All travel must be pre-approved in accordance with company policy and conducted in compliance with applicable safety and expense guidelines.
