Lead Software Engineer - PingFederate

As a Lead Software Engineer PingFederate at JPMorgan Chase within Infrastructure Platforms, you are an integral part of an agile team that works to enhance, build, and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for conducting critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.

Job responsibilities:

• Work independently as a candidate
• Manage large scale deployments and expect to work closely with operations team to troubleshoot issues.
• Include Responsibilities such as but are not limited to engineering the core JPMC Customer Authentication platform, integration, configuration, and support the PingFederate solution across all environments.
• Communicate effectively with application teams and address concerns.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in the IAM domain with Federation protocols (OAuth2, OpenID Connect (OIDC), SAM) with medium to large enterprises
• PingFederate/PingAccess or similar experience with other Web Access Management (WAM)/SSO solutions
• Strong understanding of OpenID Connect, OAuth, and SAML protocols.
• Strong understanding of how to protect APIs and Web Services.
• Scripting/programming skills
• Good understanding of CI/CD automation tools
• Hands on experience with UNIX and Windows environments.
• Ability to coach/mentor junior engineers.
• Ability to work in highly collaborative and cross functional team.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Experience on the Public Cloud with the Ping Identity product stack (Ping Federate, Ping Access) and Transmit Security / ForgeRock products
• Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices
• Keen understanding of financial control and budget management
• Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
