Lead Software Engineer (QA)

Striim is looking for a Lead Software Engineer who is ready to make an impact in realtime data-streaming and large-scale data integration. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will play a vital role with leveraging technologies like TestNG in Automations and bringing more value to our customers via Real Time Data Streaming platform. Responsibilities

• Conduct functional and non-functional testing of our products to ensure quality and reliability.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and conduct peer reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Drive test case automation initiatives and actively contribute to the development of automation strategies.
• offer technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering their growth and problem-solving capabilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve issues, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software products.

 Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience as a QA Engineer with a strong foundation in quality assurance practices.
• Proficient in Java programming, with extensive hands-on experience in using TestNG for automated testing.
• Skilled in framework development, preferably in Java, with a focus on creating efficient and reusable testing structures.
• Expertise in SQL Server, including architecture, installation, configuration, and advanced database management.
• Experienced in leveraging Jenkins and Docker for seamless continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Well-versed in operating systems, network concepts, Docker containers, shell scripting, and test case management tools.

Preferred Skills

• Contributions to open source is a plus.
• Knowledge in any Data Replication/Analytics Products (good to have)
• Exposure to Data migration use cases
