Lead System Engineer

Technology is at the core of everything we do. Our technology team helps us deliver a mobile-first experience across platforms (Android & iOS) while managing over 450 million rpm (requests per minute) at peak with a user concurrency of over 15 million.

We have over 190+ micro-services written in Java and backed by a Vert.x framework. These work with isolated product features with discrete architectures to cater to the respective use cases.

We work with terabytes of data, the infrastructure for which is built on top of Kafka, Redshift, Spark, Druid, etc. and it powers a number of use cases like Machine Learning and Predictive Analytics. Our tech stack is hosted on AWS, with distributed systems like Cassandra, Aerospike, Akka, Voltdb, Ignite, etc.

Systems IT @Dream11:

The Systems IT team manages the complete Dream11 network, tool and assets Infrastructure, with strong focus on governance, risk and compliance. Keeping our #UserFirst, Systems IT team has been very vital in ensuring enhanced productivity of all our clubs and Dream teams with scale-friendly automated processes.

The team is also responsible for securing the company IT infrastructure.

Your Role:

• Designing, implementing & maintaining network infrastructure on enterprise and cloud environments
• Architecting and managing cloud networking solutions in platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, including VPCs, subnets, NAT gateways, VPNs, peering, and load balancing
• Ensuring network security through the application of best practices, including firewall rules, security groups, and NACLs
• Collaborating with Dev to optimize cloud-based network environments, including setting up hybrid cloud and multi-cloud architectures
• Maintaining proper documentation of network and cloud infrastructure designs, configurations, and changes

Qualifiers:

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in network engineering, with at least 3 years focused on cloud networking, on major cloud platforms
• Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate) are a plus
• Experience with network automation tools and scripts (e.g., Python, Terraform, Ansible)
