Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Insert Job Title to join our team! In this role you will get to Insert one sentence summary of key job role.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Assists the Government in directing requirements engineering, solutions engineering, scheduling, reliability, resiliency, services development, integration, test and evaluation, maintainability and analysis across the National System of Geospatial-intelligence (NSG), Allied System of Geospatial-intelligence (ASG) and Federal Agencies.
  • Support transition efforts for Cloud-Native architecture to effectively deliver operations-ready capabilities as well as knowledge transfer to production team. Transition support shall include coordination of deliveries and installations, guidance and oversight of developer deliveries, support for Compliance audits and processes, and support to cross-office, interagency, and inter-department transition engagements.
  • Assist in the development of customer requirements into technical performance measurements, success criteria, and test criteria in coordination with external Government and Industry partners.
  • Assists the Government in performing systems integration activities.
  • Assists the Government in strategic technical planning, project management, performance engineering, risk management and interface design.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • 18+ Years of experience and Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in related technical or scientific fields such as engineering, physics, mathematics, operations research, engineering management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related STEM degree program, or equivalent Expert Level work experience as a Systems Engineer.
  • Expert-level experience with Jira in designing, building, implementing, and managing workflows and projects. Demonstrated experience in the use of Kanban boards.
  • Expert-level experience with Confluence in creating, capturing, and managing content and documentation.
  • Expert-level experience supporting an IT Software development program in government or industry
  • Expert-level experience supporting AGILE/Scrum projects, products/deliverables, reviews, process development, process improvement initiatives and process auditing.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Demonstrated understanding of organizational and program specific processes, best practices, and product evaluations/audits to ensure compliance with client established policies, processes, procedures, and applicable standards.
  • Demonstrated understanding of root cause/lessons learned analysis and providing recommendations regarding possible approaches to resolving defects/non-compliance.
  • Effective knowledge of testing plans and processes.
  • Effective understanding of Tableau and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the current NSG/ASG and NRO enterprises.

Salary Range:

$136,200.00 - $245,200.00
