Lead Teacher responsibilities:
β’ Functions as the lead member of the classroom and plans curriculum for the classroom which meets developmental needs of the children enrolled.
β’ Plans the physical organization of the classroom to compliment program, staff and child needs.
β’ Assists the Assistant Director of Educare in the development of supervisory reviews forms for all members of the classroom team.
β’ Communicates with parents verbally on a day-to-day basis and periodically through written assessment reports concerning the childβs development.
β’ Functions as leader in the dispensation of record keeping, child attendance logs, mandated child abuse reporting and incident reports for assigned classroom group.
β’ Participates in Educare sponsored events beyond the regular workday.
β’ Assumes responsibility for continuing professional growth by attending at least 20 hours of training annually in specific subject matter related to position.
Education:BA in Early Childhood Education or related field with credits significant of a major in early childhood education.
Experience:minimum 2 years team teaching experience
