Who you will work with

You will work very closely with business partners and peers on other global technology teams that cover procurement/payables, order management, billing/returns, disputes and credits, inventory, warehouse management and cost management. What you will work on

As a Lead Treasury FX Application Engineer in our Finance and Procurement Technology organization (Treasury FX Squad), you will help deliver the future of Nike's Treasury technology products, focusing on our Foreign Exchange Risk management capabilities. Nike operates in over 50 countries around the world and has bold growth plans. This growth necessitates applications and platforms to automate processes and streamline our finance operations activities as we grow our business. This is a global role that supports a global operations team.

You will be expected to complete configuration and implementation of our FX Platforms including Murex and CMS/Finastra. Having experience with Capital Markets/Management and Front and Back office duties will be beneficial as will experience with SAP's Treasury module.

We are looking for someone that has experience with Murex and or similar FX platforms and is familiar with Agile methodology.

• Main contact for our WHQ business partners to resolve daily production support related issues on our FX Platforms and processes.
• Lead, guide and support application engineers that provide similar support for Europe and Asia markets.
• Coaching other team members on standard methodologies
• Proposing process and system design improvements
• Reviewing new enhancement requirements/opportunities and proposing solution options
• Configuring, testing, and supporting Murex Workflows and set up FX Hedge's
• Lead day-to-day assigned project tasks to complete various RISK related tasks.
• Analyze, formulate, proposed, develop and/or contribute to overall solutions.
• Continuous follow-up of new Market regulations/practices globally
• Perform different levels of testing and participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT)
• Participate in Team Agile ceremonies

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Mathematics or related field or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
• Familiarity with Capital Management Front Office and Back Office processes and operations
• Expertise in designing and implementing workflows and reports in Murex
• Able to develop/test/troubleshoot with Murex workflows (familiarity with xml development)
• Able to develop reports in SQL and create, edit and troubleshoot SQL queries
• Experience with complex systems integration, custom application design and development on Windows and Unix/Linux platforms.
• Experience addressing integration, implementation, performance and operational issues in the Murex (or similar) platform for foreign currency exchange
• Comfortable with Unix and Linux commands
• Strong understanding on RISK concepts overall, RISK components
• Working knowledge of Forwards, Outrights and NDF instruments
• Good understanding of Market Risk Management (including VaR, stress-tests, back-testing)
• Strong detailed analytical and problem-solving skills
• Identifying & understanding business needs and objectives
• Can work independently and diagnose root causes of issues
• Solid experience in supporting RISK users and resolving their daily issues
• Demonstrated ability with Murex on Market RISK functionalities or similar (Familiar with TM1 and IBM Planning Analytics +)
• Demonstrated experience working within the Treasury or Corporate Finance function
• Familiarity with SOX compliance
• Desire to work in a collaborative, multicultural and international environment
• Helps to build strong teams and networks.

• Successful track record working as a part of an Agile development team
• The ability to train and develop in a Paired Programming environment
• Ability to communicate verbally, in writing and via presentations effectively with a broad range of technology and business counterparts
• Be a quick learner and self-starter
• Strong organization skills

• Implementations and upgrades: MXpress; FEM migrations, MXplus updates and MX.3 main-branch upgrades
• Experience with IBM COGNOS TM1, SAP Finance and Treasury modules is a plus
