Leadership Physician Position! Associate Chief of Staff – Medicine and Specialties

Salary Range from $250,000-$300,000*  This amount does not include any incentives, EDRP or Performance Pay. 

The Associate Chief of Medicine and Specialty Care is both a supervisor as well as direct patient care provider responsible for carrying out operations of the hospital and diagnostic services. The physician is accountable to and reports directly to the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCOS). This position directs all Specialty Care to include Inpatient Medicine, Primary Care and all Surgical Specialties care providers as well as the service Section Chiefs and Administrative Officer.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: critical onsite presence for daily operations, credentialing and privileging of providers, monitoring key clinical metrics, and formulating action plans as needed to ensure the achievement of clinical, research, and educational goals. This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific eligibility requirements per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
