Learning and Development Coordinator I

Job Overview

As the Learning and Development Coordinator I, you will support the Learning & Development Team's ownership of the experience with AvidXchange's Community, HelpJuice with APNFS, systems, and operations, that enhance the experience for our external customers. The L&D Coordinator is passionate about learning and development activities and can identify additional needs. The L&D coordinator then works on a plan to meet the demands of our internal and external customers. You will partner with Learning & Development specialists, manager(s),and Director(s) to develop, deliver, implement, and execute training, focusing on operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support AvidXchange's Community Buyer portal and the Supplier portal HelpJuice by owning community forum moderation, escalating customer concerns or questions that cannot be answered by another Community member, and creating and maintaining buyer/supplier facing content.
  • Own new customer registrations for the Community
  • Audit existing artifacts to ensure that they are effectively educating buyers and suppliers
  • Assist with formatting instructional materials, including help articles and FAQ's,


  • Help with content creation and management in knowledge management repositories, including the Supplier Knowledge Base, and in-app education messages
  • Monitor and reporting on buyer and supplier learning activities, producing timely data analysis.
  • Identify and create missing customer facing knowledge artifacts
  • Audit existing artifacts to ensure that they are effectively educating buyers and suppliers.
  • Create and maintain external documentation across multiple lines of business.


  • Collaborate with process and change delivery, service design, and business leaders to translate complex content and processes into easy-to-understand, readily available documentation for buyers and suppliers.
  • Identify and execute on opportunities to optimize the knowledge base and improve current documentation based on usage metrics, performance data, and feedback
  • Support in developing complex, in-depth written and video (primarily screen capture) communications for internal and external audiences.
  • Prepare and execute on a knowledge management strategy with the goal of improving quality while reducing the time teammates spend searching for information
  • Build key cross-functional relationships and identify subject matter experts within the organization


  • Partner with Learning & Development Specialists to ensure knowledge base content aligns with what is being taught in training programs
  • Help define the structure, format, and standards for product documentation
  • Review content written by other team members. Must feel comfortable reviewing team members work as part of the peer review process.


Required Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

  • Demonstrates technical writing ability
  • Demonstrates ability to leverage data to drive strategy and decision making
  • Experience being a part of a knowledge and content teams in support or customer service environments, or applicable experience
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to partner and collaborate with business stakeholders


  • Has a proven record contributing to cross-functional projects and meeting tight deadlines
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbal and written


Preferred Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience


  • Experience developing and implementing knowledge management strategies, managing and/or developing content for online help centers (internal or external facing), including articles, standard responses, operating procedures, and/or training modules
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
  • WordPress, Snagit and Adobe Suite knowledge a plus
  • Familiar with learning management systems
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with acute attention to detail


  • Comfortable learning new applications and technologies while constantly seeking opportunities to improve individual skillset
  • Familiarity with ADDIE design model
  • Ability to design and create new content experiences
