Job Description

Opportunity:

YuMe Toys has an immediate requirement for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of diverse contractual documents. This includes managing license agreements, amendments, distributor agreements, sales representative agreements, NDAs, legal notices, and other documents related to promotions, toy sales, and licensing activities. The Contracts Manager will ensure these contracts are negotiated, executed, and managed effectively to protect the company's interests and drive successful business outcomes. This role acts as the primary point of contact for contract-related matters, working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Negotiate and finalize new contracts, renewals, and amendments, collaborating with legal counsel, sales, procurement, and business stakeholders
• Maintain a centralized repository of all active contracts and related documentation
• Monitor contract performance, compliance, and milestones to proactively identify and resolve any issues
• Coordinate with internal teams to gather and organize contract-related information and data
• Provide regular reports and insights on contract status, risks, and opportunities
• Develop and implement contract management policies, processes, and best practices
• Serve as a subject matter expert on contractual terms, obligations, and commercial requirements
• Assist with dispute resolution and contract terminations as needed
• Identify areas for contract optimization and process improvements

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, law, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in contract management, procurement, or commercial operations
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to analyse complex contractual terms
• Knowledge of relevant contract law, intellectual property, industry regulations, and best practices related to distributor, sales rep, licensing, and promotional agreements, preferably in connection to licensed consumer products or toys
