This position is based in either Mannheim or Munich, Germany or St. Ouen, Paris. It will be a temporary position for 18 months with the possibility for a permanent contract.

Your Role

• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements in English (including service agreements with retail alliances, confidentiality agreements, master service agreements and licensing agreements)

• Provide strategic & pragmatic advice on legal, regulatory, risk and competition law issues

• Handle matters relating to data privacy (GDPR etc.)

• Develop contractual templates, policies and procedures and other standard documents

• Hold trainings and presentations on competition law, other policies and regulations and various legal topics

You Identify Yourself With

Education & Skills

• Education: Fully qualified German or French lawyer

• Minimum of 10 years post-qualification experience dealing with complex legal issues, gained at an international law firm or as in-house counsel at a multinational company

• Robust experience in contractual work

• Excellent working proficiency in English (written and spoken)

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively deliver a clear answer to questions

• Superior organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under time constraints

• Flexible and responsive, able to prioritize and re-prioritize to meet business needs as they arise
