What we’re looking for
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive candidate with technical acumen, and an understanding of data formats and file transfer protocols, with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately. While experience in eDiscovery or litigation support is a plus, it is not required. The ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively collaborate with legal teams, external vendors, and internal stakeholders. Attention to detail and the ability to document processes thoroughly are essential. The candidate should be comfortable handling complex tasks such as file conversions and data redaction and be willing to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll be doing
• Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) to identify and collect enterprise data relevant to litigation matters.
• Coordinate and transfer collected data securely to the designated third-party service provider.
• Assist with complex tasks, including file format conversions and redaction of personally identifiable information (PI) from structured data collections.
• Maintain accurate documentation of data collection processes and chain of custody records.
• Collaborate with legal teams and external vendors to ensure timely and compliant data handling.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data transfer issues to ensure integrity and completeness of data sets.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners through clear written reports and oral updates.
• Support ongoing improvements to eDiscovery workflows and SOPs based on operational feedback.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and company policies during all stages of data handling.
