Summary
You will serve as a LIBRARY TECHNICIAN in the Command Service Department (N1), Knowledge and Information Management Division (N14) of NAVOCEANO BAY ST LOUIS.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
- Shelving library materials using proper classification system and locating obtaining hard copy resources for patrons.
- Working with electronic library resources to include assisting patrons with searches using library databases, scanning materials for electronic delivery, and locating electronic resources for library patrons.
- Processing of government funding, budgeting, and contracting, relative to command and division operations.
- Handling classified materials and in physical security.

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successfully completed four years of education above high school level.
OR
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
