LICENSED CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER NEEDED

PART TIME 20 HOURS/WEEK

Responsibilities:

Assess, determine and provide a full spectrum of psychosocial support programs to children, adults and families.  Analyze psychological and social factors which may interfere with health maintenance or aggravate illness and prevent full benefit of medical and rehabilitative services.  Develop individual care plans, support patient efforts to comply with plans, counsel high risk patients, consult with physicians and therapy staff in assessing client/family needs in relation to the medical efforts to comply with plans and conduct group education.  Provide ongoing staff development and training on assessment, reassessments, care plan development, interventions, prioritization of needs, case conferencing and follow-up and be responsible for keeping self and management current on all state/federal/local support programs.

Requirements:  

• Masters degree in psychology, social work or related field
• State license to practice clinical social work
• Minimum two years experience in counseling patients
• Minimum one year social work experience performing casework and treatment service involving adults, families and/or children in a health or social services agency
• Valid California driver's license, reliable transportation and current vehicle insurance.
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred

Pay Range:  $52.00 - $60.00 Hourly DOE
