Licensed Electrician

Overview We are seeking a skilled Licensed Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with the ability to read blueprints and work effectively on construction sites. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that all electrical work is completed safely and efficiently, adhering to the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards. Duties • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in commercial buildings. • Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems. • Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete installations and repairs effectively. • Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues. • Collaborate with other construction professionals on-site to ensure project timelines are met. • Ensure compliance with NEC regulations and safety standards during all electrical work. • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at the construction site. • Assist in the installation of logic controllers and other advanced electrical systems as needed. Qualifications • Proven experience as a Commercial Electrician or similar role within the construction industry. • Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings related to electrical systems. • Strong knowledge of NEC regulations and safety practices in electrical work. • Familiarity with frame carpentry is a plus but not required. • Ability to operate various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. • Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. • Ability to work independently or as part of a team on construction sites.
