Licensed Journeyman Commercial service Electrician

Job Overview MUST BE A TDLR LICENSED JOURNEYMAN ELECTRICIAN! We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Service Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical systems, including renovation projects and industrial settings. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints, working with various hand and power tools, and understanding logic controllers. As a Journeyperson Electrician, you will be responsible for ensuring that electrical installations and repairs are completed safely and efficiently on construction sites. Responsibilities • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. • Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems. • Renovate existing electrical installations to meet current codes and standards. • Utilize voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues. • Work with hand tools and power tools to complete installations and repairs. • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met. • Adhere to all safety protocols while working in potentially hazardous environments. • Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with regulations. Requirements • Proven experience as a Journeyperson Electrician or similar role. • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including logic controllers. • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately. • Experience in frame carpentry is a plus. • Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in electrical work. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on construction sites. • Valid electrician's license or certification as required by state regulations.
