Licensed Nurse Practitioner

Somos Medical PC is actively seeking Licensed and Board-Certified Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to join our expanding network of community-based primary care practices across the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens. This is a full-time outpatient opportunity where you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to diverse populations in New York City.

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based primary care to patients of all ages.
• Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including medical history and physical exams.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions with a focus on prevention and wellness.
• Educate patients about diagnostic tests, treatment plans, medications, and preventive care.
• Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state regulations and best practices.
• Identify and refer patients to specialists and ancillary healthcare services as needed.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and medical assistants to promote team-based care.
• Support clinical operations and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care delivery.

• Must hold current New York State Nurse practitioner License
• Must be Board Certified
• BLS certification good to have
• Excellent communication, bedside manner, strong ethic, and organizational skills.
• Intermediate computer skills with experience with electronic health records.
• Multilingual is a plus.
