Linux Data Analyst - Bash/Python (Contract)

We are proud to be a military and veteran friendly employer.About This Position: We are seeking a skilled Linux Data Analyst - Bash/Python to manage and optimize our data integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring smooth, secure, and efficient data flows between systems, supporting analytics, reporting, and business intelligence needs. The ideal candidate has strong experience with ETL tools, excellent problem-solving skills, and a solid understanding of data warehousing. Key Responsibilities: • Manage, monitor, and maintain ETL workflows and schedules. • Collaborate with data engineers, DBAs, and analysts to ensure data accuracy and performance. • Optimize and troubleshoot ETL jobs to improve system efficiency and reduce downtime. • Perform root cause analysis of data quality issues and implement corrective actions. • Maintain ETL documentation and data flow diagrams. • Place and take partner/support calls and meetingsWhat You'll Need: • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and four to seven years of related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. • Knowledge of the following Python, C, Rust, or PHP. • Data governance and data quality experience. Preferred Qualifications: • 2+ years of experience in ETL administration or development. • Experience with Linux File System. • Basic ansi standard SQL skills and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL). • Familiarity with job scheduling tools and version control systems (Rundeck, GIT). • Experience with FTP/SFTP • Proficient in Excel for reporting purposes • Excellent analytical and communication skills.Benefits: IC Solutions offers comprehensive benefits to all regular-full time employees: • Medical w/prescription coverage • • Benefit Credit received when enrolled in a TKC medical plan, to help offset your benefit costs.
