The position responsible for leading efforts to prevent, monitor and respond to information/data breaches and cyber-attacks. The overall objective of this role is to ensure the execution of Information Security directives and activities in alignment with Citi's data security policy. Responsibilities: • Identify opportunities to automate and standardize information security controls. • Resolve any vulnerabilities or issues detected in an application or infrastructure. • Analyze source code to mitigate identified weaknesses and vulnerabilities within the system. • Review and validate automated testing results and prioritize actions that resolve issues based on overall risk. • Scan and analyze applications with automated tools and perform manual testing if necessary. • Working knowledge of Linux, networking, and application management on as big data tools for troubleshooting, and security strategies. • Reduce risk by analyzing the root cause of issues, their impact, and required corrective actions. • Direct the development and delivery of secure solutions by coordinating with business and technical contacts. • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citi, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency. Job Skills: • Must be a self-starter and be able to manage their time against deliverables. • Linux in general (SA Skills is desired/plus) • Scripting • Troubleshooting (must) • Monitoring (must) • Previous or current IT Operations experience • Be able to work under pressure and clearly articulate to management current problems, escalation process, etc. • Follow domain process and procedures. • Resolve product / application escalations. • Ability to troubleshoot and support multiple applications in our domain. • Maintain track and complete assigned tickets (Jira, ServiceNow, etc.) • Understand Big data platforms and previous experience with Splunk Core or Splunk ES is a plus. • Excellent communication and process documentation Qualifications: • 3-5 years of relevant experience • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and software • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication. • Proven analytical skills. The Role: TheLinux Production Support Analyst - Application & Infrastructure Security, AVP (C12)is an intermediate level position responsible to help maintain, certify, and ensure that Citi's Security Infrastructure and Security Applications remain in consistent adherence toMISP (Malware Information Sharing Platform)as regulated and required by the OCC. This is a production support role and will require close collaboration with internal,highly technicalteams. Responsibilities • Support operations around the existing infrastructure platforms and/or applications including troubleshooting, monitoring, and remediation • Resolve infrastructure product/application escalations by collaborating with internal,highly technicalteams • Splunk basic skills including research, querying data (e.g., security logs, data logs, etc.) • Perform scripting in Bash/Shell • Maintain, track, and complete assigned tickets in the ticketing system queue • Resolve any vulnerabilities or issues detected in an application or infrastructure • Analyze source code to mitigate identified weaknesses and vulnerabilities within the system • Review and validate automated testing results and prioritize actions to resolve issues based on overall risk in ranked order • Scan and analyze applications with automated tools and perform manual testing if necessary • Good working knowledge of networking protocols, security strategies, and application management for troubleshooting • Identify opportunities to automate and standardize information security controls when possible • Reduce risk by analyzing the root cause of issues, their impact, and required corrective actions. • Direct the development and delivery of secure solutions by coordinating with business and technical contacts Qualifications • 4+ years' experience working hands-on with Linux • 3+ years' IT Security Production Support experience in Security Infrastructure or Security Application support • Basic Bash/Shell Scripting at minimum • Prior experience with Splunk Core or Splunk ES is a big plus • Must be a self-starter able to effectively manage time in alignment to timelines • Ability to work well under pressure and clearly articulate to management regarding any arising problems, escalations, etc. • Consistent adherence to domain process and procedures • Good understanding of Big Data/Data Lake platforms or environments • Ability to troubleshoot and support multiple applications within the domain • Experience with Jira or ServiceNow is a plus • Excellent communication and process documentation skills • Bilingual Spanish is a plus Education • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience • Linux certifications (e.g., Linux SA) are a plus This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
