Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled Linux Systems Administrator with expertise and ability to support different areas such as networking storage application management virtualization database administration and containerization.

This position requires working onsite 5 days a week.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• 5-10 years of experience as a Linux Sytem Administrator

Networking Skills:
• Protocols: Knowledge of TCP UDP and Ping.
• Configuration: Experience with Netplan and NetworkManager for static and DHCP setups.
• Firewall: Advanced skills in iptables for access control and port forwarding.
• Virtual Networking: Ability to set up Open vSwitch and Linux bridges.
• Troubleshooting: Strong capability to diagnose access issues.

Storage Skills:
• Storage Technologies: Familiarity with HDD SSD NVMe LVM RAID and NFS.
• Management: Experience setting up MDADM and LVM.
• Filesystems: Proficient in navigating Linux filesystems and understanding permissions.

Application Skills:
• Installation: Ability to install applications from various sources.
• Configuration: Experience with Apache PHP and MySQL/MariaDB.
• Security: Knowledge of implementing SSL certificates and user access controls.

Virtualization Skills:
• VM Management: Experience with libvirt VMs and XML configuration.
• Networking: Ability to connect VMs to networks using bridges.
• Resource Modification: Experience adjusting VM configurations and resources.

Database/DBA Skills:
• Database Management: Proficient in installing and configuring MySQL/MariaDB.

Container Skills:
• Container Management: Experience with Docker or Podman.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
2-3 years of experience as a Linux System Administrator
