[LiveOps Team] Senior Game Mobile Artist (Game Magic Tiles 3 - Hybrid Casual) - (Based in HCM)

Objective

• At Amanotes, we are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Game Mobile Artist to lead the creative vision for our hybrid casual games. In this role, you will define and produce stunning visual assets that captivate players while ensuring optimal performance for mobile platforms. As a key contributor, you will collaborate across teams to align visuals with gameplay objectives, innovate with new artistic elements, and keep our games competitive and engaging in the ever-evolving gaming market.

What you will do

• Art Direction & Creation:

+ Design and produce high-quality 2D/3D game assets, animations, and visual effects.

+ Define and maintain the art style, ensuring consistency and alignment with the game’s hybrid casual vision.

+ Create concept art and mockups to visualize ideas and guide the team’s visual direction.

+ Collaborate with the UI/UX Designer and Game Designer to establish best practices and ensure visual designs align with gameplay objectives.




• Optimization & Integration:

+ Work with developers to optimize and implement art assets seamlessly within Unity

+ Troubleshoot and resolve artistic or technical issues during development to ensure high production quality

+ Ensure assets are optimized for mobile performance without compromising visual quality




• Market Awareness & Innovation:

+ Research trends in hybrid casual games to ensure visual designs remain competitive and engaging.

+ Drive innovation by proposing and implementing new visual elements and effects that enhance the game experience, user retention and monetization metrics.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a game artist, with significant contributions to mobile or hybrid casual games.
• Strong portfolio showcasing high-quality game art and a clear understanding of hybrid casual styles.
• ​​Proficiency in industry-standard tools:
• Design & Illustration: Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma
• 3D Modeling & Animation: Blender, After Effects
• Game Engine: Unity (2D, 3D, Unity particle system, Unity animation, etc.)
• Expertise in creating animations, visual effects, and mobile-optimized assets.
• Experience integrating assets into Unity with a focus on performance and consistency.
• Strong collaborative and communication skills to work effectively within a cross-functional team.
