Position Overview
This skilled position involves the saf e and efficient operation of concrete mixer trucks to deliver ready mixed concrete. All deliveries are local to Greater Rochester and the surrounding areas. Shift start and end times may vary, but will often include some overtime. All Dolomite Group employees are expected to partner with associates and management of The Dolomite Group to support and actively promote customer service and our safety process. We are hiring at Manitou Concrete in Henrietta, Farmington, and Brockport.

- Class B CDL drivers with relative concrete-mixer experience at $29/hr
- Paid Class B CDL driver without experience starting at $23/hr

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
The duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Safely and efficiently operate equipment and report any problems to your manager in a timely fashion.
- Work independently and make decisions that affect your safety and performance as well as that of our customers and co-workers.
- Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at all times.
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in The Dolomite Group Safety and Health Policies and Procedures handbook.
- Timely and regular attendance is an expectation of performance for all Dolomite Company employees
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
- Valid State Commercial Drivers' License (CDL)
- Must be able to read and understand maps.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and Dolomite representatives
- Ability to communicate effectively on the radio system and use truck tracking system
- Keep time and material records
- Ability to perform all job duties in a safe and efficient manner. This includes lifting of 50 lb chutes and ascending/descending ladders.
- Operational knowledge of a commercial truck and related equipment
