LOCAL Class A Driver TEXAS, NM, AZ

Location: SAN ANTONIO, TX TO AUSTIN - ROUN DTRIP - 100% HOOK & DROP Location: AUSTIN, TX TO EL PASO - ROUND TRIP - 100% HOOK & DROP Location: PHOENIX, AZ TO AUSTIN - ROUND TRIP - 100% HOOK & DROP Responsibilities: - Safely operate a variety of commercial vehicles. - Load and unload freight and ensure proper securement of cargo. - Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. - Plan and execute delivery routes efficiently to meet customer deadlines. - Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries. - Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and performing minor repairs as needed. - Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members. Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial driver. - Valid CDL (Commercial Driver's License) with appropriate endorsements for the specific vehicles being operated. - Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is a plus. Skills: - Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record. - Strong knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns. - Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems. - Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. - Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
