Localization QA Specialist, Simplified Chinese

Job Overview

As a dedicated Localization QA Specialist, you will participate in the localization of game client and content for Wargaming.net.

Reports to

Localization Manager, Chinese Languages

What will you do?

• Tests game localization; assesses product design, quality, and reliability

• Review and fine-tune the translated text by verifying the integrity of the text in the game

• Generates QA reports

• Work closely with internal or external localization staff to help all projects meet deadlines with the finest quality

What are we looking for?

• 2+ years in localization industry

• Game Localization / Translation for Simplified Chinese speaking markets. Proficiency (listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills) in Simplified Chinese and Mandarin is a must

• Fluent English language skills

• Advanced level of skills on editing, and proofreading

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

• Attention to detail

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• 1+ years in game localization

• Game testing experience, either localization or functionality

• Passion for games especially military genre (playing WG games is an advantage)

• Fundamental knowledge of game or software localization and localization tools
