Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Logistics Project Manager at GE Vernova in Shanghai, China. The Logistics Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day project logistics, managing budgets, communicating with stakeholders, and utilizing strong analytical and project management skills to ensure successful project delivery.
• The role of a Logistics Project Manager at GE Vernova involves strategically designing and executing transportation plans to support GE Gas Power Projects.
• Responsibilities include developing end-to-end logistics solutions, managing logistics costs within budget, overseeing project milestones, and ensuring safety and quality KPIs are met. The role also requires managing project risks, leading teams, and providing technical and analytical expertise.

• Bachelor's degree, at least six (6) years of industrial project management experience, and strong communication and project management skills
• Analytical Skills and Project Management expertise
• Strong Communication abilities
• Experience in Budgeting and Logistics Management
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of sustainability practices in logistics is a plus

• These attributes ensure success in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with strict deadlines.
• Strong logistics experience and proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Being good at conversing and communicating well in English language.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, along with excellent communication skills.
• A proactive attitude with strong negotiation and project management skills.
• Experience with RFQ implementation, transportation management systems, and optimization of transportation processes.
