Logistics Trainee (On Contract)

Job Description:

The Logistics Trainee will be based in Hyderabad, India. In this position, you will report to the Senior Manager, Strategic Logistics. Watch “Culture is our Passion” to learn more about us.

Here is a glimpse of what you will do:

• Consolidate and analyze financial data including reconciliations, period-to-period variance analysis, and analyzing cost deviation with variance explanations.
• Maintain the financial status of 100+ multiple projects in weekly status reports showing budget, forecast, extra cost, and invoice status.
• Ensure the reporting of each Freight Forwarder rate is strictly adhered to -- especially in regards: to invoicing, costs, payments (including terms), and budgets.
• Develop and refine business case assessments with relevant teams to support department decisions.
• Facilitate operating team (including Logistics, Planning, Sourcing, & Purchasing) by presenting data in cohesive reports that provide clear communication and recommendations on cost impact.

Here is some of what you will need (required):

• B.com/BBA/B.sc graduates with (0-1) years’ experience in invoice processing and validation activities.
• Fresh Graduates can also apply.
• Flexible to work in US timings.
• Self-starting mindset, attention to details.
• Intermediate to Advance excel skills (familiar with formula VLOOKUP, sum if, etc.), and PPT.
