Job Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our luxury resale boutique team, specializing in high-end handbags, jewelry, and accessories. Our ideal candidate is passionate about luxury fashion, thrives in a boutique setting, and excels at building lasting client relationships. This role goes beyond traditional sales responsibilities to include clienteling, live selling, trend research, and creating a welcoming shopping experience that keeps guests coming back.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales and Customer Engagement
• Greet and engage guests warmly, creating a fun and inviting atmosphere that makes shopping an experience.
• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets by identifying customer needs and recommending luxury products tailored to their interests.
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our luxury resale products, from handbags to jewelry, to educate customers and enhance their shopping experience.
2. Clienteling and Relationship Building
• Build, manage, and expand a dedicated client base by delivering exceptional service and personalized follow-up.
• Engage in ongoing outreach to clients, informing them of new arrivals, exclusive promotions, and special events.
• Foster meaningful connections with guests to drive customer loyalty and encourage repeat visits.
3. Trend Research and Product Knowledge
• Stay informed on current trends in luxury fashion, especially in handbags and jewelry, to enhance product knowledge.
• Conduct research on product histories, celebrity associations, and cultural references to add value to client interactions (e.g., sharing which celebrity recently carried a featured handbag).
• Leverage insights on product trends and cultural moments to offer a more engaging and
• personalized shopping experience.
4. Live Selling and Digital Engagement
• Support live selling initiatives, including participation in and promotion of virtual sales events.
• Create content and engage with digital selling platforms to expand client reach and drive online sales.
5. Store Maintenance and Merchandising
• Assist with maintaining visual standards, merchandising, and cleanliness to ensure an attractive store environment.
• Regularly replenish and organize merchandise to keep the store well-presented and appealing.
6. Sales Reporting and Goal Achievement
• Actively track and strive to meet daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
• Provide feedback to management on customer preferences, trending products, and client feedback to enhance the customer experience.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in a luxury retail or boutique setting, particularly in jewelry or handbags, is
preferred.
• Proven clienteling skills and experience in building a loyal clientele base.
• Comfortable with live selling, digital engagement, and social media platforms.
• Strong interest in luxury fashion trends, including knowledge of product histories and celebrity
references.
• Excellent communication skills, a team-oriented attitude, and a passion for luxury fashion.
