Machine Operator 2nd Shift (12:00pm - 8:00pm) $21.00/hr. Who we are looking for: Atkore, a recipient of a Great Place to Work© certification and a Top Workplaces USA award, is searching for General Laborers to be based out of our Phoenix, AZ facility. Reporting to the shift supervisor, this person will be responsible for efficient bundling of product, using banding tools and other equipment to complete production. This person will need to work with the production team to communicate issues and ensure quality production. What you’ll do: Additional Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Read and understand detailed work orders. • Work with urgency while maintaining a professional attitude to meet customer demand and standards. • Comply with all policies and procedures set forth by Atkore's Safety and Quality guidelines. • Accurately completed required production and labor reporting paperwork. What you'll bring: • Manufacturing experience preferred. • Must be able to read tape measures, use hand tools, and handle product. • Must be able to lift up to 40lbs. Within 3 months, you’ll: • Complete initial training. • Be able to troubleshoot production issues. • Assist production team with changeovers, set-ups, and quality control inspections. As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $21.00/hr. + $1.00/hr. shift differential. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
