Machine Operator

Job Title:Machine Operator Plant:Indiana Pay Rate:DOE ($18.50 - $19.50)- based on experience and interview. Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Food Facility Production Machine Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our food production line. Responsibilities: • Machine Operation:Operate and monitor various machines on the production line, including but not limited to conveyors, mixers, fillers, and packaging equipment. • Quality Control:Inspect products for quality and adherence to specifications. Report any issues or discrepancies to the supervisor immediately. • Assembly and Packaging:Assemble and package finished products according to standard operating procedures. Ensure proper labeling and packaging of products. • Cleaning and Sanitization:Keep the production area clean and sanitized. Follow established cleaning procedures to maintain a hygienic working environment. • Material Handling:Handle raw materials and ingredients needed for the production process. Follow proper storage and handling procedures. • Safety Compliance:Adhere to all safety protocols, LOTO and guidelines. Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly. • Team Collaboration:Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production targets and goals. Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow operators. • Training and Development:Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to the production process. Be open to learning and adapting to new procedures. Requirements: • Bilingual (English & Spanish) • Microsoft skills (Excel, Word). • Ability to use digital reports • Strong attention to detail. • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations • Ability to stand for extended periods • Excellent communication and teamwork skills This position provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience in the food production industry.
