Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CO2/Fiber Laser Engraving Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining CO2 laser engraving machines to produce high-quality engraved and cut products according to design specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong understanding of laser operation, and a commitment to precision and efficiency. Duties β€’ Operate and monitor CO2 and fiber laser engraving machines to engrave, cut, and mark a variety of materials. β€’ Prepare and load materials onto the laser bed, ensuring proper alignment and secure positioning. β€’ Interpret and understand digital design files (e.g., .ai, .eps, .dxf, .cdr, .svg, .pdf) for proper laser setup. β€’ Adjust laser settings (power, speed, frequency, focal length, resolution) based on material type, thickness, and desired outcome to achieve optimal engraving/cutting results. β€’ Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of laser machines, including lens cleaning, mirror alignment, and exhaust system checks, to ensure optimal performance and longevity. β€’ Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to quality standards. β€’ Identify and troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions and perform basic repairs as needed. β€’ Maintain a clean and organized work area. β€’ Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures related to laser operation and material handling. β€’ Collaborate with design and production teams to optimize processes and resolve technical issues. β€’ Accurately track production data, including material usage and job completion times. β€’ Assist with other production tasks as needed. Skills β€’ High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus. β€’ Experience operating laser engraving machines in a production environment is a plus but not required. β€’ Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. β€’ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. β€’ Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude. β€’ Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. β€’ Good communication and organizational skills. β€’ Physical ability to lift and move materials as required (e.g., up to 50 lbs). β€’ Knowledge of safety procedures related to laser operation Join us in this exciting opportunity where your skills will contribute significantly to our production capabilities!
