Machine Operator Assistant

SmartTalent is looking to a hire Machine Operator Assistant in Renton, WA. Ideal candidate must be able to work 12 hour shifts in physically demanding environment (details below). TITLE:Machine Operator Assistant LOCATION:Renton, WA SCHEDULE:Tuesday – Friday, 4am – 4:30pm + OT when needed PAY:$22 BENEFITS OFFERED:Paid Weekly, Direct Deposit, Affordable Health Care, Full-Time, Opportunities for career growth Summary/Objective: The Machine Operator Assistant help in the set up and operation of the machinery in accordance with established procedures, guidelines and customer requirements. Job Duties: • Work with team members, shift supervisors and all necessary personnel to take care of complications as they arise. • Communicate with fellow team members to learn of any equipment problems or malfunctions, and take care of them as they come up. • Assists in making repairs to equipment when necessary, and replace all defective, broken or worn out components. • Assist the operator in choosing and installing cutters, molds and all other necessary equipment parts so machines are always operating at peak efficiency. • Move Bundles of wrap 48” tall X 30” diameter weighs 25lbs off machine - bag, tag, and stack Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Basic math, reading, and computer skills. • High awareness toward safety. • Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking. • Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team. • Preferred manufacturing experience Physical Requirements: • Frequent standing, walking, and bending. • Pushing, pulling, and lifting at least 30lbs. • Eye/hand coordination.
