Job Summary The primary responsibility will be for performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform limited preventive maintenance on assigned machines. As well as to ensure compliance with standards and HAACP requirements as well as compliant with the General Manufacturing Practices. Responsibilities & Duties The mixers primary duties include but are not limited to: • Perform necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment • Operate/monitor multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops • Communicate with team members and support teams to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials • Housekeeping and sanitation • Ability to use hand tools regularly • Ability to color code barrels accurately • Ability to complete a daily safety checklist • Follow prescribed quality standards • Ensure proper hand-washing and drying is done • Proper use and storage of sanitation attire • Proper cleaning and sanitizing of equipment • Ensure proper Protective Personal Equipment is being used • Ability to read and follow recipes • Assist with training other mixers • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Skills • Must be able to read and write English proficiently to read recipes • Must be detail-oriented • Ability to work independently • Flexible, with strong teamwork orientation • Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement • Demonstrated ability to effectively implement change Benefits • Complete insurance package that includes medical, dental, vision and life insurance. • Several low-cost supplemental plans. • 401(k) with up to a 4% employer match. • Paid holidays and generous paid time off. • A variety of bonus opportunities including attendance and referral programs. • Numerous employee appreciation events throughout the year. Qualifications • Completed the Alchemy training courses as defined by the Production Training Matrix Physical Requirements/Work Environment While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to handle or feel and talk or hear.
