Machine Operator (Hayssen Vertical Bagger)

Job Summary This position is responsible for set up, adjustment, and efficient running of the Hayssen bagger. Essential Functions 1. Installs buckets for weight scales and calibrates prior to production 2. Installs forming tube 3. Threads film and can perform film splice changeovers 4. Knowledgeable with scale adjustments, vibration feed, zeroing buckets, and optimizing bucket combinations 5. Able to troubleshoot and adjust bag fin seal, top and bottom seal, bag length 6. Responsible for maintaining bag weights and production bags/minute expectations 7. Reports bag impressions by hour, and downtime Qualifications/Training Requirements: 1. 1-3 years of previous experience running a vertical bagger with high speed combination weight scales 2. GMP 3. Machine safety, Lock out tag out, 4.
