Machine Operator- Trimmer

We are hiring multipleMachine Operators (Trimmers)to join a growing printing company located inBellevue, WA. In this role, you will be operating the heavy duty and industrial document cutters/trimmers to perform bound book trimming services. This opportunity is a contract role with long-term potential for strong performers. Job Title:Machine Operator- Trimmer Location:Bellevue, WA Pay Rate:$20- $22 per hour Shift: M-F, 7am-3:30pmOR3pm- 11:30pm Job Duties: • Receive pallets of boxes and perform accurate bound book trimming services. • Operate the industrial equipment following standard guidelines and safety measures. • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks, adjust the Trimmer/Cutter settings, if necessary, paper handling and perform quality control tasks. • Prepare the documents for scanning. • Keep the work area clean and free of potential safety hazards. • Consistently monitor and inspect the work for quality, accuracy and safe handling of the source materials. • Perform other tasks, duties, or functions directed by the Supervisor. • Follow the guidelines and standard operating procedures. • Punctual and follow the production schedules To be a good fit for this role: • Experience equivalent to 1+ years of experience performing heavy duty equipment in a production level environment. • Good operating understanding and ability to learn new equipment. • Ability to lift and carry boxes with moderate weights that can be up to 35~50 lbs. on a frequent basis. • Ability to pass basic background checks and drug screening.
