Machining Assistant Manager

Luxor Staffing is a Machining Assistant Manager paying up to $85,000 based on experience. Weekly pay, possible overtime, optional direct deposit, benefits from day 1 on the job and much more! Duties • Leads overall production of quality products that meet the Company’s operational short and long term business goals. • Fosters a positive work environment centered on compliance and continuous improvement. • Supervises, engages and motivates frontline management and team members to follow and adhere to Company objectives regarding quality, safety, environment, and information security. • Evaluates and monitors operations ability to meet production and regulatory standards and carries out corrective actions needed to meet Company operation goals. • Leads the manufacturing process of automotive transmissions and or other automotive products that meet 100% of Company’s quality standard goals. • Lead manufacturing projects and influence team members to adhere to company environmental, health and safety standards such as cleanliness, ergonomics, standard operating procedures, required maintenance and inspections of equipment, temperature, noise, and overall safe working conditions. • Leads the fair and productive work environment built on trust and respect of all team members and ensures compliance with all local, state and federal employment regulations. Supporting the kaizen activities for efficient production equipment improvements. • Tracks and manages Manufacturing KPIs such as plant safety, quality, cost, delivery, and environment and TM morale. Take corrective actions to achieve KPI targets as needed. • Checks production lines and production control boards, and confirms production issues by performing daily walks to ensure rules and standards are maintained. • Motivates his/her Staff and maximizes their abilities utilizing HR development plans. • Confirms team member training and capabilities through weekly compliance checks and observations. • Understands and is able to read working drawings to ensure quality in machining department Experience • 3 years or more Management or Supervisory experience in an NC machining environment • Basic skills with six axis robots such as Fanuc or Yamaha. • Leadership experience leading teams of 10 to 20 team members • Able to travel to other AW locations for extended business and training (up to 2 months) • Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as directed. • Must be capable of flexibly responding to any changes in the company’s direction • Leadership track record and good understanding of how to lead people • Experience in a cross-cultural working environment. • Experience in an automated assembly process, robotic, or machining process • Experience with Total Productive Maintenance systems. • Technical Certifications in NC as operator or programmer. #IND456 Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $85,000.00 per year Benefits: • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
