Employer Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities • After set up by others, takes specific instructions and operates various standard and specialized machines • Perform such typical operations as loading parts or material into bins, hoppers and feeds; removing finished parts; operating switches, pedals and levers. • Observes operation for malfunction or improper processing of parts and corrects/reports. • Responsible for submitting “First Article” • Uses standard gauges to check parts according to specification. • Perform related tasks in departments to which assigned such as; assembling, drilling, deburring, sorting, counting, etching, stamping and recording of parts processed. • Parts to be lifted and/or transported may weigh up to 30 lbs. • Must read blueprints and have knowledge to use micrometers, calipers, comparators, thread gauges, depth micrometers and dial indicators as needed and read blueprints. • Keeps work area clean, safe and in an orderly fashion on a daily basis. • Performs other tasks of equal or lesser skill as required. The salary range for this position is $20.00 to $23.80 Basic Requirements: • High school diploma or GED • 0–1 year experience operating machinery • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
