Responsibilities: • Operate manual lathes, mills and related shop equipment to produce precision metal parts. • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. • Set up and adjust tooling, speeds, and feeds for optimal performance. • Verify dimensions and tolerances using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. • Collaborate with supervisors and engineers to meet production and quality goals. Qualifications: • Minimum 3 years of experience operating manual lathes and mills (Bridgeport or similar experience a plus). • Strong understanding of machining practices, materials, and measuring tools. • Ability to hold tight tolerances and produce high-quality work. • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious. • Basic math and blueprint-reading skills required.
