Machinist (San Antonio)

The Premier Group is currently looking for a highly skilled Machinist with 10–15 years of experience working with both CNC and manual machines in San Antonio, TX. Responsibilities of the Skilled Machinist: • Set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce precision parts • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models • Select proper tools, speeds, and feeds for various materials and operations • Inspect finished products for quality and conformance to specifications using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machines • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and resolve machining issues • Maintain a clean and safe working environment • Document production runs and maintain accurate records Requirements of the Skilled Machinist: • Proven 10–15 years of experience as a true machinist • Advanced CNC machining and programming skills • Strong background in manual machining • Able to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision • High attention to detail and commitment to quality • Reliable, self-motivated, and eager to take on complex projects The perks of joining our team: • Up to $29.00/hour depending on experience • Benefits Package: health, dental, vision, short term disability, and life insurance • PTO • 401k retirement savings • Weekly pay • Growth opportunities • PPE provided (Hard Hats, Vests, Gloves, and Safety Glasses) • Employee referral program If you're looking for a long-term opportunity in a shop that serves some of the most important industries in the country, we want to hear from you.
