Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Magnetics Design Engineer - Power Electronics located in Shanghai.

Reporting to the Power Manager, the Magnetics Design Engineer - Power Electronics role involves...

What a typical day looks like :

• Join the hardware architecture and product integration concept definition
• Develop magnetic component specification, design and simulation
• Work with suppliers to achieve trade-off between cost, performance and size
• Support component debug, validation, till to production
• Release design and test documents
• New tech study and sharing, technical documents writing
• Develop patents/trade secrets to protect company's intellectual property

The experience we're looking to add to our team :

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial or automotive field
• Experience in magnetic component design & assembly of ACDC or DCDC towards series mass production
• Good knowledge on different core material and winding structures
• Be familiar with thermal and EMC analysis of magnetic components
• Experience in magnetic component simulation tool, such as Maxwell, Comsol, etc.
• Deep knowledge of magnetic component test knowledge
• Skilled with lab equipment for debugging.
• Good command of read & write English
