Job Description

Position: Mainframe Administrator

Location: Erie, PA (Onsite)

Duration: Full Time

Job Description:

• Strong skills in CA-7 batch monitoring and scheduling techniques for a multiplatform environment, or any other equivalent scheduling tool.
• Extensive knowledge of batch processing and experienced in resolving batch abends like SB-37, SE-37, Catalog issues, JCL errors. Providing immediate fixes and submitting the job from CA-7-CA11
• Knowledge in TSO, ISPF, FileAID, SPOOL.
• Strong skills in Unix Shell scripting.
• Knowledge and experience in Endevor / any version control tool
• Have knowledge / experience in service management application such as Service-Now.
• A good decision-maker, with proven success at making timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.
• An effective communicator, capable of determining how best to reach different audiences and executing communications based on that understanding.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build client relationship/rapport quickly.

Desired Skill Set:

• Candidates having these extra skills on their resumes have an added advantage:
• Having scripting know/edge / experience is a plus
• Primary Skill: CA-7 support, Control-M, Batch monitoring and scheduling, JCL
