Mainframe Developer (CardLink OR VisionPLUS)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, CICS, and JCL.
• Work with VisionPlus or Cardlink systems, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Manage and process data using VSAM and sequential datasets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in mainframe environments to ensure system stability.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in mainframe development.

Required Skills:

• Mainframe Technologies: Proficiency in COBOL, CICS, JCL, and ZOS.
• Cardlink/VisionPlus: Experience with Cardlink or VisionPlus systems is extremely important.
• Data Management: Familiarity with VSAM and sequential datasets.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in a mainframe environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Mainframe development, particularly with COBOL, CICS, and JCL.
• Hands-on experience with Cardlink or VisionPlus systems.
• Strong understanding of mainframe operating systems, particularly ZOS.
