Job Description

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Experience in 24 by 7 production batch support
• Working knowledge of planner applications or job schedulers (preferably control-M but any other is ok).
• Working knowledge of Mainframe JCL, Job spool
• Working knowledge of tracing and monitoring systems like Mainview, Pandora, System Automation or similar.
• Working knowledge of Incident/Problem management tools (Jira, Service now or any other tool etc.)
• Ability to multi-tasking and proactive learning

Good to have skills-

• Traditional z/OS tools knowledge, at least TSO
• Experience in diagnosing and managing abend jobs, job creations in JCL language and process optimization.
• Awareness of z/OS space and disk management, connectivity, JES2, etc.
• Working knowledge in Atlassian management tools (Confluence, Jira, etc.)
• Awareness of Mainframe editor, Control M Scripting, Mainframe (JCL, COBOL, DB2, VSAM, Expeditor), Abend management

Total Experience Expected: 04-06 years

Qualifications

B.E./ B.Tech/MCA
